Shipping policy
This English version is a translation. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
Pieces ordered directly through the site are shipped from Côte d’Ivoire.
Production times
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, pieces are made to order within an indicative time of 6 to 8 weeks from payment confirmation.
For pieces marked “Available now”, no production time applies. They usually ship within 5 to 10 working days.
These times are indicative and may vary slightly depending on the production workload, the availability of materials or the constraints of handmade production. The customer is informed of any significant delay.
International shipping
For destinations eligible for online orders, the price shown includes door-to-door international delivery to the address given when ordering.
International shipments are usually handled by DHL Express.
Shipping takes place once payment has been received in full and the piece is ready to ship. A tracking number is sent as soon as the carrier collects the parcel.
The transit times given by the carrier are indicative and may vary depending in particular on the destination, customs formalities, busy periods or circumstances beyond the studio’s control.
Door-to-door delivery
Delivery is made to the address entered by the customer when ordering, including a residential address where this service is available.
Any surcharges applied by the carrier for standard residential delivery are included in the price when this delivery method is planned for the order.
Unless agreed in writing beforehand, delivery does not include assembly, installation, unpacking, removal of packaging or any special handling inside the home.
Customs duties and import taxes
For destinations eligible for online orders, orders are shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid).
The price paid when ordering includes:
door-to-door international delivery; the applicable customs duties; and the import taxes applicable in the destination country.
The customer does not have to pay any additional customs duties or import taxes on delivery.
If, exceptionally, a carrier or an authority asks the customer to pay duties or import taxes, the customer is asked to contact Paul Ledron Design before making any payment.
For destinations where direct online ordering is not available, orders are placed on request and the delivery terms are given before the order is confirmed.
Delivery details and additional costs
The customer is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information given when ordering, in particular the delivery address, the recipient’s name and their phone number.
Additional costs resulting in particular from a wrong or incomplete address, a failed delivery attributable to the recipient, a refusal to accept the parcel, extended storage or a new delivery attempt may be charged to the customer when they fall outside the delivery originally planned.
The customer must also comply with any reasonable requests from the carrier needed to complete the delivery or the customs formalities.
Receipt and transfer of risk
Delivery is considered complete when the customer, or a third party they designate other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the piece.
On receipt, the customer is asked to check the outside of the packaging and the piece.
Any visible damage that may be linked to transport must be reported to the studio as soon as possible, ideally within 7 days of receipt, with photographs of the piece and its packaging.
The detailed procedure in case of damage or defect is set out in the Returns and Refunds Policy.
