From 8 to 13 September 2026, during Paris Design Week, Lafayette Anticipations hosted Life of Forms (Vie des formes), the opening event of AlUla’s cultural season in Paris. The exhibition brought together pieces from the design residency programmes of AlUla and Villa Hegra, in dialogue with a selection of works from the Lafayette Anticipations Collection – Fonds de dotation Famille Moulin.
Furniture, sculpture, installations, video and hybrid objects formed a route that blurred the line between art and design. Curated by Clément Delépine and Arnaud Morand, with Ali Alghazzawi and Emily Marant as associate curators, the exhibition was organised with Arts AlUla, Design Space AlUla, the French Agency for AlUla Development (AFALULA) and Villa Hegra.
Paul Ledron showed three pieces built around pause and rest. The Dunan Dalan daybed, designed during the AlUla residency, is covered in cyanotype textiles that hold the cast shadows of the oasis plants. Tamaro Ja is a vertical light sculpture crowned with palm-paper tiles. Sira Ladi, an incense altar, pairs a perforated chimney with two brass-inlaid benches.

On Tuesday 8 September at 7 pm, Paul Moustapha Ledron took part in the round table “Material as language: what objects carry within them”.
