Fiyen

Fiyen, “the wind” in Bambara, explores cane-work as filter and as material. The weave lets air and light through, structures space and makes the screen an active surface: neither solid partition nor mere decoration, but a permeable threshold between separation and passage. Like Otto, Fiyen roots its research in West African rattan craftsmanship.
