Otto

Otto, a Yundé wood cabinet, puts cane-work forward as both structure and craft. The circle, divided between its two doors, becomes a woven surface, a breathing space in the wood. The handwork of the rattan forms its visual framework and reflects an interest in the materials and basketry techniques of West Africa.
